Dr. Ralph Heap is a fourth-generation Arizonan, a respected orthopedic surgeon, and a lifelong servant-leader who has spent his career caring for others — both in the operating room and in his community. Now, he’s running for the Arizona Corporation Commission to bring accountability, common sense, and conservative values to the powerful agency that oversees Arizona’s energy, utilities, and water systems.
Raised with a deep love for Arizona, Ralph graduated magna cum laude from Arizona State University before earning his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He then went on to practice orthopedic surgery for over 40 years in the East Valley, helping thousands of patients live fuller, healthier lives. In addition to his practice, he served as a volunteer team doctor for two local high schools and for a time with the Milwaukee Brewers organization.
Dr. Heap’s dedication to service extended far beyond Arizona. As a medical missionary in Africa, he has traveled to 23 countries — providing life-changing pediatric orthopedic care and supporting faith-based healthcare initiatives around the globe. He has been an advisor to three international medical charities working to bring hope to underserved communities.
He and his wife Denise — his high school sweetheart — have built a life rooted in faith, family, and freedom, raising three children and eight grandchildren in the state they love.
Ralph Heap was elected to the Arizona House of Representatives, where he has been a strong voice for limited government, free markets, medical freedom, and parental rights. Now, as a candidate for the Arizona Corporation Commission, Dr. Heap is ready to stand up for ratepayers, defend rural communities, and block the encroachment of globalist energy agendas.
As Corporation Commissioner, Dr. Heap will:
